Kaboodle & Weezevent power Greater Manchester Creative Industries Exchange

Last week, Kaboodle & Weezevent partnered with the Greater Manchester Creative Industries Exchange, providing technology support for its inaugural event at Manchester’s New Century Hall.

A collaboration between GM Business Growth Hub and Greater Manchester Combined Authority , the event brought together 500 attendees from Greater Manchester’s creative industries community for a day of panel sessions, workshops, fireside chats, and live podcasts, as well as networking sessions and a DJ set and live music – giving guests the opportunity to network with like-minded people.

We provided full access control and session tracking across the event, allowing for real-time visibility of attendee flow, room capacity and engagement throughout the day:

• Ticket scan and wristband encoding on arrival
• Session tracking across all event spaces
• Live capacity dashboards for operational control
• A wristband-enabled drink voucher mechanic, allowing each attendee to redeem a complimentary drink via a single tap

This was a perfect opportunity to showcase how our technology can be utilised in the professional event world – and to partner with an industry body so close to home was even more special.
