Family and friends of TV presenter Caroline Flack have announced they’re coming to Crystal Palace for the fourth year of Flackstock – an intimate day festival to celebrate Caroline’s life with comedy, dance and musical, whilst raising critical funds for mental health charities.
With a committee including Caroline’s mother Christine and sister Jody, and friends Natalie Pinkham, Dawn O’Porter, Anna Blue, Sarah Tyekiff and Katie Joyce the team are thrilled to be bringing the festival – which has raised over £600,000 for the charities so far – to the south London location on a Friday evening in the school holidays.
The festival – which previously took place in the grounds of Englefield House, the Elizabethan House and estate near Pangbourne in Berkshire - will announce the list of 2025 performers in the Spring. With previous stars appearing including Olly Murs, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Shaznay, Chesney Hawkes, Pixie Lott and Natalie Imbruglia it’s bound to be huge news for the summer festival scene.
Co-Founder, Dawn O’Porter, explains how Flackstock 2025 will be a breath of fresh air for the festival. “The decision to move to Crystal Palace was not easy, but the truth is the only day that would ever be available to us before was a Monday,” she said. “Even with our stunningly loyal fans who would come wherever we were - there is no doubt that Flackstock will be more successful on literally any other day of the week. So not only are we moving, but we will also now be on a Friday. It’s so much easier in many ways – including the fact you can get the tube there.
“It’s a wonderful site. Surrounded by beautiful trees and the stage floats on a lake. There is plenty of space for all our usual activities like the Mindfulness Tent, a kid’s area, a VIP section and there will be the usual loads of food vendors and of course, plenty of bars. We cannot wait for a fresh take on our fourth year in existence – and an amazing line up!”
Money raised from Flackstock 2025 will once again be split equally between Choose Love, Mind, Samaritans and Charlie Waller Trust – four worthy outlets that held a special place in Caroline’s heart. Plus, organisers are thrilled to announce the addition of a fifth charity, the Flackstock Fund – which will be supporting other mental health charities throughout the year.
Stay tuned to Flackstock’s social media accounts, for more acts, special guests and announcements to be made in due course.
